Very rare that I fall asleep watching TV, usually when I've had two busy days in a row & up very early both mornings.
Daughter falls asleep often watching TV. She is very like my late M-I-L, she did all the time. Didn't matter what was on TV, she just went off. Daughter's the same.
Daughter also says exactly what M-I-L said, not asleep, resting my eyes. The fact that she was snoring rather loudly sort of belied that.

my poor Mum is in the last stage of dementia and falls into deep sleep all the time. Beware its nothing more worrying.

These days I count myself fortunate if I get five hours sleep in a night, it is more likely two or three at most. I don't fall asleep during the day, though.

Me too but I can live off 5 hours just fine.
