Years ago I ran an Inn in Dorset and Blue Vinney was on the menu

It was a lunchtime feature when we took over the place so we continued to serve it .
It was illegal to sell Blue Vinney at that time because it was made with unpasteurised milk . It arrived courtesy of 'a man who lived in the hills' and brought it on demand in return for a free lunch. We 'gave it away ' as part of a ploughman's platter
I assume it is 'legal ' now.
