History tells us---The French may have great cuisine but war is tackled at dawn-a bun and a coffee is not enough

I could not agree more especially when that bun is dunked into the coffee.

Re: Full English Breakfast

You know what, one of these days I'm gonna cook me up a full English. Except I might leave off the mushrooms. I love mushrooms, but I can't fathom having them for breakfast, for some reason.

Re: Full English Breakfast

Full English here too on a Sunday (around 11:00 am), bacon, egg, sausage, tomatoes, black pudding, fried slice or potato cake, sliced mushrooms, no beans (can't abide the things) and a mug of tea. That one meal lasts me all day.

See, I could definitely do the beans, as I love them in almost any form (with the exception of black beans or kidney beans) but I don't think I could do the blood pudding thing. Not saying I'd never try it if it was put in front of me, but it's not something I'd willingly order or prepare.

Re: Full English Breakfast

My breakfast has only ever consisted of a cup of all milk coffee, semi skimmed of course. The only time i ever have a breakfast is on holiday, one of those all inclusive things. I have never in all my years at work or on retirement had a breakfast. Supposed to be the most important meal of the day but it's never been that way for me.
