This awful weather

I am beginning to become depressed with all this wet weather.
Rain is forecast every single day for at least the next ten days in my part of the world with not one glimpse of the sun to be had.
I'm running out of things to do !

Re: This awful weather

Yes, it has been pretty awful hasn't it Malcolm. Rain, rain and more rain.
It's dry here this morning so far, but grey skies and quite a strong wind blowing, but I guess its better than more rain.

Re: This awful weather

I can see the sun this morning, and it looks like being a dry day for once, and is still very mild.

Re: This awful weather

Agree., Very boring weather dull and dismal and raining.
I wish it would go to where they need it like California who
are begging for water. Its their worst drought in living memory.

Now we are getting strong winds with it. Great.

Re: This awful weather

I am trying not to let it bother me and still getting out and about as normal, only weathers stop me are if the ground becomes slippery then I tend to try to stay in as much as possible. Long waxed coat and waxed hat combats most of the wind and rain. Wellies take care of my feet. Betty hates rain though so I have to tuck her in my jumper/coat luckily Elsie loves it as my knees would buckle under her weight.
