Please Recommend A Tiled Floor Cleaner, So My Dog Doesn't Slip!

Just lately, my little old poodle's legs have weakened.
It is heartbreaking to see his legs splay on my kitchen floor. I had been using Flash floor cleaner that l bought a while back, that leaves a shine on the tiles.
I have put a towel on the floor near his food so he can stand on that to stop him slipping.
I have looked at floor cleaners in shops but most have the word 'shine' on the label.
My daughter bought him some shoes for Christmas but they were too small and l don't know if he would have worn them?

I can't offer much help here Art, because I've got a non-slip floor where the dogs are, but I wonder if it would be worth asking in a carpet/flooring shop, would they know do you think?
I should think a towel would be like a magic carpet and slide away.

Otherwise you could buy a length of the rubber matting to lay down for him to walk along, that should make him feel more secure.

'Groomers' do sell it by the metre, have a look here:

Aaah, bless

Don't know about non-slip cleaners Art... but what about a rug that doesn't slip by his bowls, or a series of rugs all over the floor, rather than a towel?

Edited.... oops....Mups, just spotted your post. Far better than mine

Mups and Pesta, Thank You Ever so much for your advice but l'd be worried that l might trip over the mats!

There must be some floor cleaners that don't contain polish?
I have seen floor cleaning stuff but it's for wooden floors that l haven't got and wouldn't want!

I wouldn't worry about tripping over the mats Art, they not very thick.
Failing that, could you buy a couple of rubber car mats to put down for him?
