Socks

I know this sounds superficial.

Remember those socks with the diamond design on?

What would you do if your man turned up for a date in them, wearing sandals........?

Are you in charge of your husbands/ partners. socks, as in what they wear...or don’t you mind?

Mr P knows how to dress properly and he wouldn't be seen dead in sandals with socks.
I would just laugh if anyone I knew turned up like that. A definite NO from me, sorry.

I wear socks and boots all the time. Well, not in bed...............

Ah, the diamond patterned socks. They used to have a navy blue style with a couple of red and green diamonds shapes. When I was with The Met, I remember a sergeant going ape with a PC who turned up on duty wearing them with his uniform!

I never, ever wear sandals. Fell-walking trainers or boots with steel toecaps and a thick sole. I have shoes for "best" but since lockdowns started I've never used them.

Most of my socks had the diamond design and I think they were from the Pringle Scottish stable and that was their distinct design. Now, anything will do lol.
