Re: Good Morning Monday

Good morning busy people dull and wet but good for the garden. Chloe has gone back to bed, it feels quite chilly.

Lots of cleaning to do today, a stool to mend and some new light shades to put up in the bedrooms... just the round white paper ones.

Enjoy your day

Well, that's mowing the lawn out of the window so to speak, it was lashing down when we got up. Instead, I cleaned the oven for V, a job I've been getting a round tooit for a couple of weeks.

100% True Percy...I spent about 20 seconds trying to figure out what a "round tooit" was before realising the typo.

I need to get out more.

Sorry, Dex. I should have said "round tuit" - I have one like the attached on display in our glass cabinet.

V bought it for me as a joke prezzie. She said she got fed up with me saying, "Yes, I'll do it when I get ..." You can guess the rest.

Re: Good Morning Monday

An ocean away from most of you folks, and nearing 6 PM, it was sunny and 33-34 C, here at the coast. A bit more unpleasant (temperature wise) than
what you are having.

Too hot for almost any activities aside from "hugging" the A/C unit !! And I'm speaking of the upper States, in coastal New England.
