I don't understand. There is genuine genius on display here, both collective genius and individual genius. Why would any of you want to deprive yourselves of such sporting brilliance?Individual geniuses include Christiano Ronaldo (although, unfortunately, Portugal are out now), Mbappe, and arguably de Bruyne, Hazzard, Griezmann.
The only collective genius I've seen is Spain - the team. Not obvious at the moment, but still, they are young, and I believe that this team will become as great as the Spain from a few years ago.
And the emotion. Just last night Mbappe was treated intolerably by his manager and team mates after he missed his penalty and France went out. What a truly sad sight to see Mbappe making his way, alone, back to the dressing room with nothing but a pat on the back from Deschamps. Shame on them.
This is one of the greatest sporting feasts that can ever occur. Many of the participants are as near to super-human as you will ever see. Don't deprive yourselves!

Hey, everyone. Now that I've finally converted you all into football fanatics (apart from Dex of course, who is probably enjoying an exciting game of bowls somewhere
), my money is on Germany, but my heart is of course with England! C'mon you ole duffers, who do you will think will win?
