Why in the world did they put such tall mirrors in the bathroom and WIDE?
Horrible it is. And that's not a LOL. (LOL)
Hi Mlee, Youth is wasted on the young who have no idea how to do stuff, but as you get older you learn and find you can make things look good, then suddenly your body turns against you.

Even working in the garden can put me to bed early as I am aching and exhausted. Oh to find the elixire of life.

Cut the other end of the wire to give you a foot or so to play with, trim the ends of all the wires so that there is about four inches of bare wire showing and make a substantial join in the single wire and the rest, by interlocking them and making a tight twist with pliers. thin enough to easily pass into the end of the conduit. While one person is carefully pulling the single cable in the garage, another person should be CAREFULLY feeding the cables into the other end trying to feed them in as neatly as possible, with each individual wire sliding in side by side and not twisted around each other. If done properly, as long as you have the right size conduit for the cables, they should go through with no problem

PS. If the cables seem a bit tight and the insulation is PVC, feeding them through a damp cloth sometimes helps. Under no circumstances should you put any undue strain on the cables.
Thanks Derek, I;m surprised they let you retire, where have all the electrical engineers gone?

So right you are, Cookiecate. . . So right you are.
Today I had to groom the girls. Have two over 12 year old canine daughters.
Had to take Vicodin and wait for it to start working before I could start working. First, brush n comb, Sizzors n electric razor. Then another Vicodin to be able to bath them.
Don't think that the Vicodin works anymore! Plus the normal arthiritis pills and another pain pill. I'm still in so much pain.

I need to get out in the yard to get rid of winter debris. But all I do is look. By this time last year I had everything done.

I think about selling the property and moving down to the city in an apartment or something. No yard care.
But I'm so used to doing anything I want with my own home and stuff. I'm the boss here.

From reading a lot of the threads. . .your weather is about like ours here. Everything is in early bloom.

Have flower seeds to plant. Doubt I'll be able to.

But. . . tomorrow is another day.

Cate, I hope you got an NICEIC Minor Works certificate for the job carried out to the 17th Edition of the Regulations. Having worked for an electrical contractor for almost 30 years I know that any electrical work has got to be verified by a competent electrician, who holds at least a Part P certificate, otherwise they're working illegally and potentially dangerously.

For anyone else, always make sure that any electrical work carried out in your home are electricians who are NICEIC registered.
