Are Tusk and Junker really cocerned about the well being of the
Btitish people? I think not, l remember very well the statements
they made 3yrs ago when they heard the result of the referendum!
That the british people would pay for this!!
They have just spent the last3yrs try trying, and succeeding to a
certain degree, to make this prophesy come true, all that is taking
place now, could have taken place 2yrs ago, but with Mays collusion
it had to be dragged out over a long period? I suppose in the hope
people would lose intrest or be influenced by the phycological
warfare that was waged by eu and uk establishment combined?
Myself, l have alterred my view from preferrig a deal to being
convinced NO DEAL is our only course of action

Unfortunately for eu, Boris, or Nigel are not Teresa May!

Re: Tusks twitter rant??

Junker has now joined in by saying the origanal sin lies with the
Islands and not with th continent, the uk faces complete break up!
He does not mention europe as Tusk did?
Just who is playing the blame game l ask??
Vradkar was given BBC coverage to say he will fight to the end to
secure a deal, whatever that might mean?Who listens to that pratt
anyway?
If the extinction rebellion can succeed in shutting down parliament
good luck with that l say, it can only make NO DEAL more likely?

It wouldn't have mattered a single jot what was proposed. The opposition parties are duty bound to criticize it, and the EU have a vested interest not to allow anything work since it could precipitate other countries making a departure too.

Ultimately, there are pros and cons to being a member of the EU. The trouble arises when the perceived cons are greater than the perceived pros. If the cons had been resolved to mutual satisfaction, then non of this debacle would ever have happened.

Hi. Can't remember what he tried TBH

But it does indicate a failure by the EU to realise the true depth of feeling within these shores. Their intransigence is partly to blame for this whole sorry state of affairs.

You may be correct Dex, perhaps he didnt really try, just popped
over to Brussells for the day for all the good it did?
However, it will be a bigger disaster than Dunkirk if we dont
persevere with exiting eu after all the shyte we have had to endure?
Imo of course!

All empires come to an end eventually, with annexed countries once again taking control of their own localised destinies.

I suspect that the EU will have a relatively short lifespan. Whether the UK departure marks the beginning of the end is up for debate and history will tell.
