Got any salad dressing recipes?

Healthy ones if poss

Oil, lemon juice and salt? Can you use any oil, like flax seed oil (which is very good for you).

I love the classic simple good olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and a grind of good Telicherry pepper.

My standard dressing is honey/olive oil/white wine or cider vinegar/black pepper/chives (or parsley).
I don't use salt and substitute lemon juice for vinegar depending on what is being served.
I have tried making it with flax seed oil and it doesn't taste very nice.


Agh I forgot the mustard which helps to bind the emulsion together...

I tend to the olive oil/cider vinegar or lemon/balsamic vinegar/runny hunny and grain mustard as standard for most occasions.

Just oil & vinegar with fresh herbs is fine

I'd never use a bad tasting oil - spoils the whole thing

Ugg its horrid
Azz buy some decent olive oil and you need 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar or lemon juice.
