I'd be like that too, Mags. That must be lovely to have that very old one. You hang on to it.
I have got 2 'Bird Clocks', you know, those that sound a different bird every hour, plus an old wind-up chiming mantel clock which was already old when I bought it about 45 years ago. I just had new springs put in it last year.
Then I've got the usual alarm clocks, cooker clock, watch etc.
Your bird clocks sound charming - I don't think I've ever seen one...perhaps in some else's house, but I've never heard one.
