I'm just grateful that the forum works so well as it is.

If and when there are changes, I have every confidence that Azz will have realised that most of us are doddering old s***s and can't handle difficult alterations!

Me too, I like the tried, tested, and familiar. I got the new site on here (my desk top pc) yesterday BUT, still waiting to be able to get in on the tablet and phone, just get the change message on them both.

All that's changed so far is we've been teleported to a new server. Is that right? As Bathsheba said, I thought we were going to get a totally new site with more bells, whistles and smilies to play with.

I had the message re: changing to a new server and couldn't log on at that time. Thought I might try another way so searched with Google for 'Over 50s Forum', when found I clicked on that and then logged on using my usual log on details. That worked OK from then on. Whether or not that was just coincidence I don't know and never will. However, if it wasn't coincidence perhaps that might help anyone still unable to log on.

Hi all,

Right now we have just moved to a new server... in preparation for the other changes

The new server has 4 TB of hard disk space that means you'll be able to upload lots and lots of images (the old server had 500 GB of HD space, which is 0.5 TB).

I am currently working on another site, and when that is done I will start working on Over50s - but I'll keep you all updated
