Desert Island Must Haves

If you had to spend a year on a desert island, what would you see as a must have to take with you? (No family members allowed and no generators either, no cheating remember.)

What would you miss the most and what would you be glad to see the back of?

Holly Willoughby! If I'm going to die I might as well die with a smile on my face.

Mrs Cooke! Mrs Cooke! Alan's thinking of running off with Holly Willoughby

To be honest with you Alan - a certain Mr Beckham popped into my head and then onto my wish list

What else would you take and what would you miss?

I think I'd definitely take flour so that I could bake bread of sorts, and the thing I would miss most I think is cheese...

Well, you could take a goat as well plantman - then you'd have milk (I might add a goat to my list now). What would you miss and what would you be glad to see the back of?

Mmmmmm had to think about this one I think a box of matches to light a fire with like you see on all those desert island films on the beach and a multitool for knocking up a beach cabin and a few crates of red wine. How much can I take ????

Whatever you can carry (take the goat - you can load that up as well )

Good idea about the multitool - a good Swiss Army knife methinks.

No-one is saying what they would miss or be glad to see the back of!

Wouldn't a flint thing be better than matches? What about when the matches run out? Or maybe a magnifying glass!

I would miss cheese....Oh - and baked potatos
I would definitely take music - but nowhere to plug in - have to be a 'Willow' radio then (wind-up)

Ah there you go Rob...tools, I was thinking the same.
On the serious side I suppose the most important thing for me to take would be my tool kit (no power tools, I know they are not allowed), couldn't be without a hammer and saw on a desert island. My tin whistle would be in the tool box and I could teach a few Monkeys how to do a jig for my amusement, that would take up a lot of time and keep me from becoming bored.
I would miss the pub and the wife for a while, but us men can get used to anything given time.

Not very practical but I would want my slippers - nothing nicer than putting my fluffy slippers on these days LOL

I would miss most easy access to water hot and cold, and my washing machine !
