[IMG][/IMG] A German beer festival in Garmisch Partenkirchen. I managed to force myself to start gardening yesterday.......about 1 1/2 hours raking over and spreading growmore ready for planting out. Still plenty more to do. I have to rebuild what can best be described as a pig-trough shaped container in which I grow my tomatoes, more room for the roots than a growbag. My tomato plants are about 6ins tall now and looking very healthy growing in pots in the utility room.
Morning all.
My toms are also waiting on the window ledge about 6inch waiting for planting out day. I have been putting them out during the day but back in during the night. I planted out 90 leeks the other day since then we have had frost and snow but they are fine so will plant the rest of them out this week. Its amazing how many baby leeks you can get from one tray, I seperated 90 out but that was only quarter of a tray ...I might give some away. Or I will be eating leek and potatoe soup for the next year.....
Have been to the Munich Oktoberfest, for the experience, a bit wasted on me as I don't like beer. Seem to remember we could only get coca cola as alternative, which I don't generally drink either.
Morning fellow members cold and grey today and I have Hannah. How I look forward to warm sunny days when we can go out in the garden, it seems a long time since we were able to do that.
Good morning all, you are all so well ahead of me I shall have to buy tomato plants this year instead of sowing them. When spring comes that is, although having said that we have had a few nice days. Have a good one today.
