Not always to do with marriage though is it? Or stunning good looks and youth.

Some chaps, and some women too , just can't handle a partner who is confident or a person in their own right.
They mistakenly feel it diminishes them.

Young men are often jealous and passionate .
Young bucks and all that.
Atractive young wives are better off not staying with older single men no matter how well intentioned .
