Re: Talker or listener?

I like listening , I'm interested in people , I love their life stories . Im bored with my life stories so don't really want to repeat them , I cope with my own issues , so listening is very interesting . I'm an observer too I love people watching , you can learn a lot by being quiet

Re: Talker or listener?

I believe that I am more of a listener most of the time.

Re: Talker or listener?

I do tend to talk too much once I feel comfortable with someone, but like others have said, I hope I am a good listener when needed too.

Probably if I am happy or excited about something I tend to rabbit too much.

Re: Talker or listener?

I admit to being more of a talker than a listener, but I enjoy listening to a friend and watching the expressions they get when excited.

I'm an animated person when sharing most of my adventures, have been told I can perk up a person just when they need it most. That is a definite plus, but listening has its rewards, too.

Sometimes you can learn more about a person by saying little and allowing them to fully explain what's on their mind.

Re: Talker or listener?

I can yap but l can listen too!

I remember being in conversation with my friend’s husband, a nice enough man but so boring!
He was chatting away and he must have been like a hypnotist because the next thing, l was zonked out and l fell asleep, right in front of him!

All l remember, was him saying, ‘She’s gone’.

I shouldn't laugh but......

Re: Talker or listener?

It depends on the situation. With some people I need to be the talker and with some I have to be the listener. I adapt when needed.

I like to listen to people. I like to have a two way conversation, but not everyone is like that. Some people never say a word, and others never stop talking to take a breath.....
Well. Wild B, I hope I'm both. That said, we have a mother and daughter family close by neighbours. They can talk the hind legs off a donkey. I am nowhere in their league.

Re: Talker or listener?

If you've got the time to talk the hind legs off a donkey, or to offer an infinite ear, your not working hard enough.
