My husband and I don't wish to have a funeral, our bodies are to be taken down the crem and disposed of, end of story. I don't suppose that will cost more than a few thousand, if that.

£1100 was what I was quoted for a direct cremation. Like you, I have no wish for a funeral.

The only time I have ever danced in my life was when I was visiting my home island a while after my paternal grandmother, whom I detested, had died. I took great pleasure in literally dancing on the old b*tch's grave.
