I remember when we were kids, Mum & Dad used to take us to a Chinese Restaurant somewhere in London.

They used to do this sort of art work on vegetables there and use these inticate pieces as decoration on the sides of dishes.
It is very good.

I have never seen it done anywhere else since.

Mups darlin' - we have both a Thai and Chinese restaurants here (Sabai & China Garden respectively) which do carve intricate patterns in some of the side vegetables.
