I enjoy Pub quizzes, Socialising, Live music nights, Art, Painting in oils, Scrabble, Crosswords, Creative writing, Cooking, My garden, My seven hens, Making Elderflower wine!I love my pub quizzes. I think they are great for the brain!
There was just two of us this week against teams of five or six. We managed to come second though!
One question, we didn’t know was, ‘What is, ‘Gamekeeper’s thumb’?

I keep an Art journal (which also has photos in it).. I find it relaxing and sometimes cathartic.I play online Scrabble, I love languages in general.
I read when I can, usually on holiday when I can devour 4 or 5 books in one week.
I swim regularly (and cycle sometimes).. that helps me unwind and keeps me fit.
I have found a real pleasure in cooking of late which used to feel like a chore when I was cooking for 5 twice daily. I like to have people round and they're usually fed and well-watered by the time they leave
. I love to sing along to music when I cook too.I still socialise quite a bit. At least once a month I will have a night out or a meal or a weekend away ..either with the girls.. family.. colleagues.. a special someone...
Oh and here, OFF..I suppose it is a hobby/interest of sorts. I turn to it rather than watch tv quite often. I like to read posts and threads although I don't always post myself. That's especially true of a week night when I may have had to do lots of marking and schoolwork and I look for a distraction before bed.
