My first wasband taped Embryo from the radio in about 1974 it sounded much better than this version, much heavier, I think it was on the John Peel Show.

Re: Pink Floyd

Alas I did not go to Leeds University until 1972-so missed them. Anyway they were filthy unwashed louts-I was told that by the evil one and he was never wrong-mind you he thought that about the Beatles and even the Goodies

When I was still a school boy this lady used to be at the bus stop-only after I had left school did a friend tell me that -----------oh never mind it was a long time ago.

Embryo will either be from the '70 or '71 in concert show. It's on both. I have both shows from the BBC master tapes. If you would like copies let me know and I'll put them in my Dropbox and send you a link so you can download them. Absolutely fabulous quality. Great version of Echoes on the 1971 show.

Now I'm really jealous. You saw Hendrix in '67. Which show was it?

I'll sort it out tomorrow. Been collecting 'obscure' music since the early '70s and so I have a lot of unofficial material. Always believed in passing it on. Music belongs to the people - probably a very uncool thing to say these days. Bloody hippies!

Need your email address to send a link for the files but apparently I don't have enough privileges here to message anyone so email me at

jonsattic@icloud.com

And I'll send a link for the files. They will be Flac files but will decode to Wav or Aiff depending on what flavour of computer you have... And that's pretty far out.
