Mollie darlin' - yes Prevastatin is better but at such a high dose - continue to monitor it long term. If you start to suffer leg pains don't put up with it - chat to your Doctors again.

One thing I have come to the conclusion about, is ALWAYS read the leaflet that comes with your medication.
I was already on Simvastatin when a totally inept heart doctor put me on Warfarin.
He knew what other medication I was on and should have known that statins and Warfarin do not mix.
As a result, I suffered frequent dizzy and fainting spells, even while driving, on one occasion.

Michael matey, I was on BOTH those medications too - didn't suffer dizzy spells, just severe leg cramps both day and night which prevented me from sleeping or sitting anywhere comfortably - horrendous!!! - now my doctors prescribe Atorvastatin (Lipitor) - still on Warfarin and will be for the rest of my life.

you have to do what you need to help I am 3 lots of meds from the heart docter and asprin small dose per day
a fewweeks ago I never had reg drugs like this
hate talking meds
