Hatti girl is not well...

After 8 weeks on strong antibiotics for Cystitis, the results of her urine test show that it has become worse over the last two weeks There is all sorts of cells showing and Louise, her Vet, is now going to speak to a Specialist in this field at Liverpool Small Animal Hospital for advice as to what to do next-should have some news by end of week. Meanwhile, more antibiotics and anti-inflammatories until we know what the next step is. Just hoping she doesn't have to be operated on to take a biopsy from her bladder like she had last year. Feel so sorry for her as she is obviously very uncomfortable, but fingers crossed it won't come to an op.-she's such a worry!

Oh dear, poor Hattie girl she must feel so uncomfortable especially as she has had quite a few reoccurrences of this. I do hope her vet can help her without the need for an operation,

Please give her a hug from me, Merz.....

Oh Merz, poor little Hatti. A week seems an age when you're waiting doesn't it? Keeping my fingers crossed that it clears up and no op for Hatti.
Give her an extra cuddle from me xx

Thank you Mags, Maryl and Eileen-hugs duly given to her.
Vet keeping her on same antibiotics Eileen until she gets advice, hoping that they will just keep everything at the same level for now. Course I went on the internet looking everything up and wished I hadn't-worse thing you can do isn't it? Just have to wait for Louise to ring me.

Thank you Meg. Have never suffered personally from it, but one of my Sisters used to get it regularly and at times she would be in tears. Fortunately, she hasn't had it for quite some time - (hope I'm not tempting fate!)
