Re: Your weather

Another lovely day, sunny, nice breeze, 29 C (83 F). A recent study ranked US cities in terms of Summer heat and Washington was the 6th hottest! Why did that not surprise me?

The lot!

Rain, wind, thunder, lightning, a bit of sunshine and, if you can believe it, last Wednesday there was a shower of hailstones! I was not bestest pleased.

Today, back at work, I was lathered the minute I got into my car. S'not fair!
Consider yourself lucky Mollie darlin' - we had a Tornado this end of the country - did a fair bit of damage too!!!

Re: Your weather

Another lovely day: sun, good breeze, 28 C (82 F), may make the record in the high 30s this afternoon. Bad t'storm after dinner last night, had to close the windows as the rain was coming in, but it was over quickly.

Re: Your weather

This is the worst night so far this year. It's now 23:30 and it's 27c (82f) and really, really sticky.

It reached over 40c again today, but cloudy, and actually rained a few spots at one point.

Re: Your weather

It's been lovely and sunny here today, right up until nearly 9pm, so hopefully summer is definately here now.

Re: Your weather

Beautiful day, sun, low 30s, then heavy brief rain in late afternoon and cleared up; watching a lovely sunset just now. But we have lost 3 minutes of evening daylight .....

DM darlin' depending on your latitude, after 21st June, (Mid-summer's Day) you lose so many minutes as the sun dips below the Equator heading for the Tropic of Capricorn. Being somewhat further 'North' than you are, we actually lose 4 1/2 minutes per day.
