It's not hated by the UK. We just think we can go a step further, which we already have in many ways. The EU hasn't even managed to get the ECHR signed, never mind take it to another level.

Once again, you're completely wrong and you don't even know the difference between the Council of Europe and the European Union.

The UK is a member of only one of them

The Council of Europe makes available to professionals and the general public recordings of different interpretations of the European Anthem. These recordings are extracts from the "Rhapsodie sur l'Hymne Européen" by the French composer Christophe Guyard. They were commissioned by the Council of Europe for use in documentaries, news and other programmes covering the Council of Europe.

Isn't it normal in the UK that the losing party (in this case the UK) in a legal dispute is sentenced to pay the legal costs of the victorious party (in this case the EU)? Or is that continental law only?
