I'll have a look at that uninstall article, though it wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft put everything back at the next 'update'!
The uninstall article is an old one - a newer one is available .....

I always uninstall Windows 10 games and other bloatware:

Windows Update history may be ascertained by checking Settings/Update & Security/View Update history an clicking on the selection required.

Regarding "drawn-out" Quality Updates, if I encounter one then I always post a notification on OFF.
Just an aside. I find the best Solitaire card game is Solitaire 3D by Grass Games. Animations and other effects. Includes more than the game shown below:

There is a free version but I bought the complete one for £10.12.

Thanks, but no need. I have removed several unwanted programmes using the old version.

Annoyingly, though, you can't remove Edge and Cortana, both useless.

Thanks, but I find the Windows 7 games absolutely perfect. I don't know why MS had to change them with W10.

Same experience as you Bruce, but some people are never happy.

I agree about the beta testers but they are limited in number on a limited number of PCs and bugs are still apparent when the OS is sent out to the public. Only when they get feedback from users do MS know what changes to adopt/make.
