I would never just copy someone else's photo without asking. It really is lovely - will put up a photo of the card I make so you can show him.

When you used the word ‘permission’, l thought l had better check that my son did really take the pic and hadn’t copied it from somewhere? Yes, he did take the pic and joked it would cost you £5!

Absolutely beautiful photo, Artangel. I happened to see a satellite photo of the wildfires, and was amazed at how far over the Pacific the smoke had spread. I am sure your son is wise and will take precautions.

Here the saying is the same, but it's "sailors" instead of "shepherds".

We used to say "Red sky at night shepherds delight, Red sky in the morning sailors warning".
