I do love sweet peas. But my gardening is still dominated by clearing rather than planting...
I do have two camelias in bloom now, though! And a couple of crocuses too
Oh. The gardening mags are saying to start them off in January to get stronger plants and earlier blooms, but I haven't done mine yet either.
If we started them indoors we would do that but we have to wait until the rain stops and the flood recedes before we attempt anything in the garden this year. And TBH earlier blooming isn't important we like them a little later as early cut flowers are fairly prolific but need a bit of colour and perfume in the flat later on.

Ahh, I love camellias, but mine are still in bud yet. I've got my first snowdrops out though which I always love to see. Springs on it's way - slowly.

I love to see an optimist, Mups but I haven't yet forgotten last year when I thought all would get better after the end of February and we then had bitter cold for another two months...
I've been looking at sweet peas in my catalogues - don't know which ones to choose
We planted early for last years display but I've not got out there yet, Mups. If this spring is cold it won't matter much I think.

Put some seeds in pots on my windowsill last weekend. At least they'll be time to have a second crack at it later if they don't come up right.
