Mine are still tiny, about an inch tall, but they still have time to grow as the start of our season is about a month later than in the UK.

Yesterday, courtesy of the village Mayor and the EU, I was given 10kg of seed potatoes, half a kg of onion sets, loads of cucumber, lettuce, sweet corn, parsnip, radish, bean, peas and yellow pepper seed as well as 50kg of manure.

I think I'm going to be rather busy!

We grow "Cherrola" tomatoes they are small but lovely and sweet.

My "Shirley" plants are now in their final position and I went over them this morning taking out the sideshoots. I noticed that one plant has the first truss of flower buds showing.

Blimey Alan no contest then, who will be picking the first tomatoes on the forum?

Wal is down the garden now hoeing round the garlic, and I'm sure he is ignoring my waving to him!
I'm waiting in for a delivery but I'd like to do a swap with him so I can see how big my tomato plants are
