Re: Would You Wear Ribbons To Indicate You Are Social Distancing?

[QUOTE=Artangel;1922062]A SAGE scientist has suggested that when lockdown ruling is eased, elderly people should wear ribbons to indicate they are social distancing.
Do you think this is a good idea? Is this something you are prepared to do?

What next? We hold a bell and chant, ‘Unclean, Unclean’?

Absolutely pointless, you are then assuming that the idiots who get up close are intelligent. I used to work with dogs and sometimes you get one that due to it's background it becomes highly reactive, basically you keep it away from strangers and other animals. However even though the harness has a bright yellow strip on it along with the words 'reactive dog' you still get idiots who either let their dogs come running over, or they come over and instantly without asking, try and pet the dog.
People seem to forget that sadly today we must not assume people either have, or are capable of using common sense. In my case I assume everyone is an idiot until they prove otherwise, it's much safer that way.
