Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Tide is right in at the moment but I'm sure it will be busy later. Saw on the news that hundreds of youngsters had been partying on Langland and left truckloads of rubbish behind . Whats wrong with them .
Lovely warm one but storms expected later ?
Have a good one xxx

What to watch on Wednesday now the sewing bee has come to an end.So pleased that Claire won. That"dress" Matt made was really something else!
Expect the beach will be busy today-Jac.
Have a good day and keep cool.
We were saying the same Rhosyn, what to watch on Wednesdays? I loved Matt's dress and the way his boyfriend wore it, but Claire was a deserving winner. So consistent all the way through - and meticulous.

I have been sitting on the patio, but have had to come into the front room to cool down. At this rate I'll be back in the shower at Lunchtime. Oh for a swim.....

Big change in the weather today.Foggy and drizzly.Had a thunder storm early hours of morning, didn't last too long.
Quiet in Tesco this morning. No plans for the rest of the day.
How stupid some people are-thronging to the beaches,it's asking for more Covid cases.
Have a good day,keep safe.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Thunder and lightening last night and overcast and damp at the moment
Must admit the people using Caswell seem to be acting responsibly but just read that the car park at Langland will be closed at 8pm tonight because of the parties . Doubt if that would happen tonight anyway
Karen coming down later to take my recycling .Joe's restaurant has semi opened serving take-aways
Be safe xxx

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

No storms or rain here and the sun has been shining all day. However it is clouding up now, so perhaps the weather is breaking tonight.

Started to copy some old photos to put in a book of memories for my granddaughters birthday - or Christmas - depending on when I finish!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Just had a phone call from cousin in Swansea to tell me that the husband of one of my oldest friends has died. So strange, I phoned her a few weeks ago and was only thinking yesterday that I should phone again - but didn't.Now it will be a sympathy letter.

Rainy day here, have just put a curry together for lunch. Now it's on with the photo copying and the book.
