There is absolutely no reason why there should be just one faceless corporation. That is a total red herring. In any case size brings inflexibility which creates opportunity for start up enterprises.
As for making use of so called tax havens, they can be used by any start-up and should be used right from the get-go. It's a strategy that I have always adopted. Likewise "shell" companies situated in low tax areas, the maintenance costs of such is surprisingly low.
I'm starting to suspect that you've little experience when it comes to being an entrepreneur!
