Been a busy couple of days here too Sweetie. The builders repaired all the leaks in my roof and for the past two days have had the painter in repainting the walls, skirting boards with door and door frames both in my lounge and then my kitchen.

Yes Sweetie darlin' I am aware of that - the only 'damp' area left is the gloss paint on the kitchen door.

Yeah its been a real nightmare for quite a while, now all I have to do is rearrange the carpet layers coming to put my new carpet down.

No Sweetie darlin', they were originally supposed to have come and laid the carpet on Monday, but since the painter was coming on Tuesday, I postponed their attendance - now that all the decoration has been completed, they can come and lay the carpet without fear of getting paint on it.
