Hello from Hungary!
I've just joined and would like to introduce myself. I'm originally from Nottingham but arrived in Hungary via South Africa, nearly seven years ago.I live in a tiny village which has only 65 inhabitants, no shop, no pub and a 12 mile drive to the nearest town. My companions are my two dogs and a cat. I don't have time to get lonely as I'm much to busy .... spring and summer are spent cultivating 2 large veggie patches, collecting fruit from the trees and taking the dogs for walks across the fields. In winter we all hibernate and I catch up on all the jobs I haven't had time to do before.
The only thing I miss is the chance to speak English so I'm really looking forward to writing it instead!

Barbara darlin' good evening and welcome. Have visited Lake Balaton and Budapest and love Hungary - very laid back atmosphere there. My GP is Hungarian too, a lovely lady who, together with her husband (my orthopaedic sugeon) have looked after my medical needs magnificently well for the past 12 - 13 years.|
