Scotland

I've finally got to Inverness.........I took two stops, one overnighter in Durham and one in Perth.

I finally got the camera out on the road from Perth to Inverness. This is just a taste of what I hope will come.

Yaaay! Welcome to Scotland Its not the greatest weather wise right now, but I'm sure you will have a brilliant time exploring! That photo is very atmospheric. Lots of Druid things up that way

Re: Scotland

Lovely country - but maybe I'm biased!
Kirriemuir is where I liked. James Barrie of Peter Pan fame.

Re: Scotland

I really like that. Dark, brooding, menacing, yet beautiful at the same time.

Re: Scotland

Many, many years ago my mother sent me a brilliant postcard from Scotland which, unfortunately I seem to have lost. Your photo reminded me of it.

The picture was divided into four representing each season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) Three of the pictures showed a very solemn, unhappy sheep standing in pouring rain in a Scottish paddock, the fourth showed the same sheep in a blizzard.

I wish I had kept it as I thought it one of the funniest postcards ever. Good photo by the way.

Re: Scotland

The foreground clouds over the top of the viewer are a circular (or parabolic) continuation of the clouds in the distance.

Distant landscape is beautifully Scottish.

Crop the steel fencing.

Lovely perspective shot!
