When we lived in an urban area, I regularly heard and saw foxes, now we are in the country, haven't seen or heard one.

Foxes are quite partial to a bit of chicken Longdogs, and now they know where all the KFC's are....

No, the 'unspeakable' in pursuit of the 'uneatable' have killed them all off or driven them into the urban areas.
At least they may be safer here.

As Caricature said, it is the start of the breeding season now, so there will be a lot of night time activity going on now!
No mups, as far as I know nobody round us keep any poultry
