During the week when I switch on for the BBC one o'clock news, I always catch the end of Bargain Hunt. That's when they all link arms, and say "More Bargain Hunt, Yes!", and then kick their legs in the air. I'm afraid I've started doing the same, even shouting out yes! Is this extremely sad behaviour, or wonderful news, that a pensioner can still get their leg up,(not over)!?? Any other secret Can Can Dancers!?
We do it every time john. We also do the ' very very very good luck' bit at the beginning. The programme has really gone down hill of late and that kick thing at the end id the best bit.
I like Bargain Hunt but don't kick my leg at the appropriate moment even though I could make a pretty good show of it.
What does annoy me a little is the way the experts are always putting their arms around the contestants. If I was a contestant, I'd be saying "Get off me will ya!" ..unless it was Caroline Hawley of course.
I know what you mean, particularly the bloke with the feather stuck in his brim.
