Re: Which Kitchen Smells Do You Dislike The Most?

When I was pregnant with my daughter I hated the smell of any kitchen really it was daft because surely all kitchens smell different...but any kitchen made me go green, I'm ok now

Re: Which Kitchen Smells Do You Dislike The Most?

Yesterday I cooked steak garlic onions tomatoes mushrooms chips and peas. Getting up this morning my whole house still smells of the cooking . Unfortunately I don't have an extractor fan and even opening the windows doesn't clear the smell .

But it was lush .

Anything mother cooks

I don't know how she does it but everything smells the same - greasy - even a stew lol

And she never shuts the door and the whole house stinks

It's fish for me too.
If I cook fresh fish the smell doesn't go for a couple of days. I don't cook it anymore for this reason.

Frozen oven fish in batter etc doesn't leave a smell so that's what we have.

If ever I am cooking anything likely to be 'pungent' I light one of these first - they really work :-

Thanks for that ST. It will come in useful when I'm cooking brussel sprouts.

There's one missing, there should be four candles (fork handles)
