Very windy here but not raining too much.
Going to spend a week with son no2 leaving tomorrow morning,hoping the weather won't be bad along the M4.
This is the last time I'll have to pay to cross the Severn bridge on the way back.

Went to the local Co-op this morning to collect an Air Ambulance box that was full! Full was the understatement of the week, I could hardly carry the thing to the car. Lots and lots of pennies!

Glad to be in by the radiators and have the company of the TV.

Workmen have been around checking for drafts and leaks on balcony window. Finished now so just hoovered up after them so that's me done.

Quiet day at home for me, bit of cooking, bit of sewing, bit of tidying and making some notes for a talk tomorrow evening about the Cathedral. It's tipping down now so glad to be in by the fire.

It's been a sunny couple of days here in Berkshire.
Going into London today,son has a surprise lined up for me.I've been told not to eat breakfast and not to wear trainers so it sounds like lunch somewhere "posh"!

My surprise yesterday was tea at The Ritz.It was fabulous,the sandwiches and cakes were to die for.The whole place was wonderful,the waiters were so attentive but not ott.A grand piano playing all the old tunes. Then a visit to Fortnum and Mason.How the other half lives!!
Shopping in Windsor this morning,bought a few bits for Christmas.
