Looking into renewable system

Hello all,

We've just moved into a new home - little smaller than where we were before. My husband and I are considering trying to save money by installing a renewable system. Currently looking into either solar for hot water or PV for electric but not sure which would be the better investment.

Does anyone have any advice?

Not sure about solar for hot water Tabby, but PV is looking good if you want to save money on your electricity bills. Have you thought about a small wind turbine that would continue to supply power through the night? There are quite a few people using them on boats and mobile home sites, I've been considering one myself.
