Robin Corbyn again

In todays Guardian he is quoted as saying that Tory current policy is taking us back to 1979. As any mess the country was in then was due to the labour government. Is he actually against his own party, as Margaret Thatcher wasn't in charge for all of that year.

Re: Robin Corbyn again

I just googled Robin Corbyn (thought maybe Jeremy has a brother!)
and up popped a link to this thread!
Can't remember which thread this belongs to where we were discussing Google...

Perhaps it is the new name for Jeremy (Corbyn) who it seems intends too be like Robin Hood and take from the rich to give to the poor

Re: Robin Corbyn again

Oh I see, much easier to discuss people if we use their proper names Jeremy is I think a breath of fresh air no insulting other politicians respectful of people. He gets my vote for that alone. His stance on helping people gets my vote too, we have seen enough of food banks and people trying to live on zero hours jobs being sanctioned for not being able to read letters and paying tax just because others are jealous they may have an extra bedroom.

Re: Robin Corbyn again

Totally agree Julie.
Quietly confident that this man will give sad old Labour the kick it needs, and Cameron and his bully boys the kick up the backside long overdue.
Never mind whether he's general election material, he comes across as fair and reasonable and courteous and compassionate.

That is life, even the brain dead need somebody to vote for. Can ANYBODY with the current and oncoming threat from IS, those who kill the babies of women and make the mothers eat the dead flesh and intend making us next, expect him to be our strong protector, the ruddy dreaming wimp from cloud cuckoo land.

Re: Robin Corbyn again

Julie, you've found today's deliberate mistake !! O course I meant Jeremy, but don't you think Robin sounds much better. Anyway since last Sunday I am now in my 80th year, I put it down to old age.
