It seems so apparently many are very bright university students etc too, worries me we may be losing some of our brightest people to this and I can't for the life of me see how we can stop them going when families either encourage them or ignore the things they are getting into.

There can't be a person on the planet that doesn't know the horrors of IS - so to join them is not foolish but downright 'mad' - wouldn't want any doctor that was mad in the thought process
Exactly they are extremists and use the social media to further their aims and attract youngsters to their cause and do their bidding. Very dangerous individuals and they deserve special attention.
That is something I don't understand ! why are they allowed to do that ?
