Or rather someone's opinion of how it is. Trouble is with public services is that there will never be enough money so satisfy every need, and this insinuation that conservatives go around bashing the weakest for pleasue is as ridiculous as it is pathetic....21-09-2015, 12:02 PM

Not True - thousands of disabled claimants have died following DWP determination they are 'fit for work'.

Beware when interpreting statistics ...The figures are meaningless because we do not know how many of those people would have died anyway had they not been declared fit for work .
The fact that the people were being tested for suitability to work in the first place indicates they may have had some kind of medical condition and therefore had a greater potential to die while working the the general population.

The point is Arthur that these tests have weeded out many people who were claiming benefits through choice rather than necessity, which is just leeching off the rest of us. You must be quite naive if you believe that everyone on benefits needs to be on them, when in fact it is just a lifestyle choice for some. Do you not think they need wheedling out or do you think that every claimant, whether genuine or not, is deserving of our benevolence?
