Brush cutter/strimmer recommendations please

I desperately need one. It's one of those things I keep meaning to get, but forget to. I know my neighbour made short work of my garden a couple of times near the border with one.
His is petrol, but I will probably get corded, as from experience always have difficulty starting petrol mowers.
I have a Bosch lawnmower which is great, but not quite up to the job that needs doing. Lots of overgrown shrubs, scrub, etc. I don't mind if I butcher it whilst clearing as long as it's tidy again.
Bosch do a strimmer, but it's not labelled as a brush cutter.
Any recommendations would be helpful, as after searching on Amazon there are so many with mixed reviews.

I have a Ryobi cordless strimmer which does a great job. Not sure which models would be available in the UK. One advantage with Ryobi cordless tools is that they have a ”one battery fits everything” system so you don’t have to buy different batteries for each tool. Here you can buy packages with a combination of tools and batteries. If I hadn’t already bought other brands of tools I’d go for Ryobi for everything because of the battery system.

I doubt if you will find a corded or cordless brush cutter due to the power needed to drive the blades. The weight of copper windings for a brush cutter would make the weight of an electric model prohibitive for free-hand wielding into your jungle. Although with modern innovations happening right across industry all the time, something might be available.

I've just checked with my favourite website and only strimmer's are available in corded or corded state. Some heavy duty types do say they are capable of light weed cutting, but brush is not listed.
My choice would be a good Husqvarna 2 stroke brush cutter to ensure reliability with excellent cutting abilities.

Funnily enuff I've just ordered a GTech cordless grass edge trimmer. I was looking to buy a Spear & Jackson version but our local Argos didn't have one in stock. The GTech's spec looks about the same although it cost £20 more (after a special discount).

I use this one..

What are you trying to get through teacup, if it’s woody shrubs ect, then something with blades would be better, if it’s just long grass or softer green stuff, then a normal grass strummer would be ok, most are adjustable for lawn edges, but check if that’s a requirement, could you not ask your neighbour to use his petrol one to clear it, then you could keep on top of it with a strimmer

Perhaps a local tool hire shop might be worth a try. If you hire one and it works OK then you could buy one if thought necessary. Tool hire shops are usually reasonable in what they charge, they might also be able to advise you on the best ones available for what you want to do.

I must admit to using the strimmer just to cut the grass when it’s longer and wet…

I don't like to ask anyone. He's already helped by clearing a lot already. I honestly couldn't.
Everything grows wild in my garden. A previous occupant planted too many shrubs, etc. I might have to ask some neighbours to come in who have a gardening business, but am a bit hesitant as they really did me a favour for the job last time. They ripped out so much for little.
I definitely need blades. I would love to rip the bushes down, put fencing, lay slabs, but a job for another year.
The Bosch strimmer is supposed to be able to tackle some heavier stuff, but as I've no experience except my lawnmower and hedgecutter, both corded and excellent, so need recommendations.
