What is this?

This is not really a quiz as I don’t know the answer.
But I am asking, what is this and what is it used for.
I found it in a draw with other kitchen ware.

Re: What is this?

It looks like it should slip over a jug handle or something, as decoration

I thought it was a handle of some sort, too.

Clips to a belt. Holds one of those knife-sharpening files. Useful for butchers, chefs, etc., or anyone who needs to keep a knife as sharp as possible at all times.

Well that's my 'stab' in the dark anyway!

Re: What is this?

A poorly designed suspender belt stocking-gripper?
Bilmey, that's taken me back to stocking tops and the warm exciting flesh immediately above ..

Re: What is this?

Mystery solved. I found the answer on another web site.
It is a pill extractor. You place the pill in the foil over the hole, and press down on the arm bit and the pill goes into the hollow body.
Some off you pill poppers may have had this at times when it is different to press the pill out of the foil.

Sounds useful.

What else have you got?

Everyone should have one of these in their kitchen draw.
