Am I the only one who thought tonight's ending was very touching? I don't believe Roy has ever been seen shedding a tear before, and I must say I found it hard to stop myself doing the same. Yes, I'm a soppy old sod.

On a side note, The Three Degrees is one of my wife's favourite groups. She had a few of their albums in the 70s.

I was teary eyed all through both episodes! This is going to be one difficult storyline for those of us who love Roy and Hayley.

Do you think Roy went out to phone Christian? Just a thought.

It was a very emotional episode for Roy and Hayley tonight and I think Roy was learning a lot from Hayley's show of strength and determination.

It did go through my mind that Roy may find Christian for Hayley .....I think that meeting is going to be very emotional too

I too was very touched by Roy's heartache. Dear Hayley is being strong whilst poor Roy is inwardly breaking his heart. I ended up in tears as well, and this won't get any easier to watch as she deteriorates over the next few months or so.

Fiz and Tyrone understand Haley's concern, their birthday gift adopting a bat and inviting them to be more involved with the children was a comfort to her, when the time comes Roy will need their support.
