Had a bad night - those cats decided to start WW3 in the middle of my bed while I was trying to sleep. Threw them out. They retaliated by leaving fur balls in the hall and broken crockery all over the kitchen floor.
I may just have to declare this to be strangle a cat day!
Later this morning I'm meeting a group of friends from Facebook for fish & chips on Matlock Park. This is the nearest we've been to a meal together since 'Lockdown'
A walk round the park afterwards and an ice cream in the plan.
We will have a good old natter and maybe arrange a new time to see The Ladyboys of Bangkok which we were going to in May but it was cancelled. Also a few more outings including a walk I said I'd take them on.
I'm really looking forward to today. Daughter Sue is coming to keep Tony company so he won't miss me. They will have a walk to the next village & call in the pub so he'll enjoy his day too.
Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all.
A 'fresh' start here with blue, almost cloudless skies. Dry with sunny periods,
feeling warm in the sunshine according to the forecast. Maximum temperature 22ºC.
Another ‘please myself' day – some time out in the garden also some mundane
household tasks to be done.
Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.
