Sometimes we need the support that only close friends can supply and we are happy to give that.
Sometimes we prefer to keep personal issues personal.
Sometimes, some of us have been there/dunnit/got the T shirt and can empathise or give advice.
Sometimes we need to 'sound off' in the knowledge that we will not encounter criticism.
