The horse boxes were not involved as far as I am aware. They would have been in a lorry park somewhere, at least they have been at all horse shows that I have attended.

There were horse vehicles on the bottom level of the car park, maybe not all. It's an 'events stadium' car park where the ground level can take taller vehicles .It could have been some of the smaller horse boxes parked there.
No nobody said that anyone did not have insurance, but considering the amount of vehicles that are going around without it, it would be quite possible that some of those were in that car park., and as has been said serves them right if they were

So am I. Feel for the people who's cars are in that car park though. Good no one hurt.
But what I can't believe is how a concrete car park can catch fire & burn like that.

It was said on the news that the horse lorries parked in the car park were able to be got out. It's possible the fire started higher up the levels then.

I wondered that also .
Another point might have been better if one or two of the people videoing on their phones, might have been better off grabbing a fire extinguisher.

Re: Liverpool car park fire

I'm a bit mystified ...
How can they say no one was hurt yet? Have they managed to get in there and sort through 1,400 mangled cars?
Someone might have been having a nap in one.

I guess the next big fear will be whether the building will collapse.

Excuse me??
A car park is for cars and as this is a multi-storey car park, there would not be any horses in it would there?

The Liverpool Echo Arena has it's own parking for horse boxes and those people putting on shows, such as trailers and trucks with all the equipment in them. Same as any concert arena does.

Name these "levels" I am so wrong about Primus.

I was thinking the same. An awful lot of fires in a very short time and many of them with tragic loss of life. What's going on? Is this something more sinister?
