Well fancy that Mags. Never seen that done before.
Thank you.
Is there any particular reason why they do it that way instead of slicing? Is it for certain recipes or cultures or something?

Taken from Wiki, Mups ......

Pulled pork is a method of cooking pork where what would otherwise be a tough cut of meat is cooked slowly at low temperatures, allowing the meat to become tender enough so that it can be "pulled", or easily broken into individual pieces.

Pulled pork is found around the world in a variety of forms.

Re: Pulled meat

I did some "pulling" when I was a teenager but not with meat.

Oh and before you ask I was very successful at it.

Re: Pulled meat

I went to a party quite often.
One I remember very well was a fancy dress party. Did i or did i not get a shock on entering the house. On the stairs was a girl completely naked hitting herself in time with the music.

"Do you know this is a fancy dress party"I asked

She repied that she did

My next question to her was "Well what have you come as?"

wait for it

She said she had come as a SELF TAPPING SCREW

I agree. It sounds nice but any that I have tried was tasteless and overpriced.

I am also a born cynic and I reckon the packaged stuff is all the bits that are left over after all the slicing.
